Hi.  I have a HP LaserJet M1120n MFP, that is connected via Ethernet to a docked Dell E7470 laptop.  I can print documents without any problems.  I can type in the manual IP address into my browser and access the printer.

 

I cannot load HP software that will enable me to scan from the M1120n to my laptop.  I have tried HP Smart but it cannot locate and add my printer, even when logged in as Admin, and manually typing in the IP address.

 

What are the solutions that I can do to be able to scan documents?

I forgot to add that the M1120n printer has the latest Firmware installed.

I also tried the HP print and scan doctor, without any resolution.
