Hello. I'm working with a HP LaserJet M225 MFP Printer that is not responding to commands to copy from the dashboard.
I've done both a Hard Reset and updated the firmware. Neither of these things have fixed the issue, however...
Is it possible to get the instructions for an NVRam Reset PMed to me?

P.S. I know that a similar problem has already been solved here. The message with the decision was sent in a private message((

Hi @incarne

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet M225 MFP is not responding to copy commands despite performing a hard reset and updating the firmware, an NVRAM reset might help. Here are the steps to perform an NVRAM reset:

NVRAM Reset Instructions

Turn Off the Printer

  • Power down the printer and unplug it from the wall outlet.

Disconnect All Cables

  • Remove any USB or network cables from the printer.

Access the NVRAM Reset Mode

  • While the printer is off, press and hold the # and 6 buttons on the control panel.
  • While holding these buttons, plug the printer back into the wall outlet.

Release the Buttons

  • Once the printer powers on, release the # and 6 buttons. The printer will enter NVRAM reset mode.

Complete the Reset

  • Follow any on-screen prompts if they appear. The printer will reset to factory defaults.

Reconnect Cables

  • Once the reset is complete, reconnect any cables you had previously disconnected.

Test the Printer

  • Try to copy a document to see if the issue has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you very much! It really works. The device makes copies again and makes copies over the network.
I am extremely grateful
