Hey guys I only saw one other post about this I don’t know if it’s a bug or a new issue but the mobile fax hasn’t been working for a few days now. I live somewhere where faxing is the only option other than post but I really need to get work done 😞 I’ve tried it on different devices and also tried to uninstall/reinstall the app, log out/in again and also the suggestion to remove the mobile fax option form the “personalised tiles” menu in the app and re-add it but nothing has worked. I would be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations for another app or service to send faxes for free

Thanks for your message, you're not alone in experiencing issues with HP Mobile Fax recently. While I couldn’t find fresh updates from HP confirming an outage, your troubleshooting steps were thorough, and it does sound like a server-side or app-level issue.

1. Use HP Smart Web Version

  • Try accessing HP Smart via a browser at hp.smart.com and see if Mobile Fax works there.
  • Sometimes the web version bypasses app-specific bugs.
    Or try free fax alternatives if you have

Hallo! Ich habe leider das gleiche Problem und hier bereits seit anfang Juni 2025 funktioniert das mobile Faxen über die hP App nicht mehr. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Kundenservice soll wohl ein Serverproblem vorliegen was mit der neuen Einführung der App behoben werden sollte was aber leider nicht erfolgte. Insoweit gehe ich davon aus dass Dies entweder ein Serverproblem oder tatsächlich ein Problem innerhalb der App ist und ob und inwieweit HP Interesse hat dies auch tatsächlich für einige Kunden zu beheben steht noch auf einem anderen Blatt punkt ich bin leider ebenso sehr darauf angewiesen habe ich das Gefühl dass HP gar kein Interesse hat die wirklich dauerhaft zu klären. Ich hoffe jedoch dass ich mich irre und das HP sich Erklärung der Sache trotzdem angenommen hat. LG Marcel
