Hi, 

It's been a while using all features of my  HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 to my full satisfaction. But recently I have encountered an issue in scanning. While scanning a document I am getting this vertical lines showing up on the far right of the document. I tried to do Printer Alignment and see below the print I am getting and while following the two steps after by lifting the scanner,  placing the alignment page face down and scanning it I am getting an error message so It's not happening.

Please help me with a solution.
