On my HP OfficeJet, pro 6970, I can no longer scan documents to my computer as I keep getting an error message scanner reported an error. An error occurred while communicating with the scanner. I restarted my computer and also the printer I tried unplugging the printer, but none of these seem to work.

 

Any assistance you can provide to resolve would be greatly appreciated as I need this all in one machine for work… I’d hate to have to spend another $400 for a new one even though this is a few years old. TIA, and have a great day!

HP Recommended

My HP Office 6970 reports an error whenever I try to scan a document. Other people have reported the same problem. How do I six this?
