Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Officejet Pro 8035
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I scan documents to the computer, Whether from the ADF or the Flatbed scanner, the scanned documents are always skewed. However, If I copy documents using the printer's control panel, whether by the ADF or the Flatbed scanner, the printed copies are always perfect--matching the original documents.

Also, when scanning to the computer a document that contains a table with grid-line borders or a thick line banner, the scanned table/thick line gets skewed at a different degree  from the beginning  of the document,  or curved rather than come out straight as in the original document.

The scanning is always skewed on all software platforms--Basic HP SCAN from driver software, SCAN from HP SMART, and  SCAN from the printer panel.

Since the problem only occurs when scanning to the computer, and not when I am copying documents through the printer's control panel, I figured out that the skewing problem is digital--either a firmware or driver issue, and NOT a hardware problem.

I am using the latest drivers and software versions for this printer, including firmware MALBECPP1N001.2204A.00, and it is a real disappointment that HP cannot fix this issue in all the software/firmware updates that come out.

Btw, HP does not seem to promptly update the firmware on the printers software and drivers site; my printer already automatically updated the firmware twice while an older version was still listed as the latest, on that site.

Hello @ModUser ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Use this software package HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 All-in-One Print EasyStart Printer Setup Software – Offline Use Only  then it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks for your reply.

I did not say it does not work; I said the scans to the computer are always skewed.  I am using the very latest HP software package. I also tried HP Smart. Same problem.  After some research, I found out that it is a common problem with HP scan software, even with different models.

Actually, the printer itself works very well and the its print quality is great. The problem is within the scanning software.
