Hi @Michele808,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand that your HP Scan application is taking a long time to load after you updated your computer to Windows 11. This can be frustrating, but there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:

Basic troubleshooting:

  • Restart your computer and printer: This may seem obvious, but sometimes a simple restart can solve software glitches.
  • Check for HP software updates: Make sure you have the latest drivers and software for your HP printer installed. You can download them from the HP website: Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer series
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool from HP that can diagnose and fix printing and scanning problems. You can download it from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/printscandoctor
  • Temporarily disable your antivirus software: Sometimes antivirus software can interfere with scanning applications. Try disabling it temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the HP software: you may need to uninstall and reinstall the HP software. Be sure to back up any important settings before you do this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
