I have an HP Officejet 8010 printer (note it was called an HP Officejet 8020 when I purchased it or maybe 8017 but not 8010. The printer OS says its's an 8010). Since I purchased it I have been able to scan documents and edit them with a variety of options using HP Easy Scan but recently most of those options appear to have disappeared from the menu screens giving only very limited editing options. This makes the scanning options very basic and almost impractical for my use. Is it related to the model number or some configuration issue with the printer ? I use it mainly on a Mac but also on a PC, it is an issue with my Mac.

I have tried to use your website tools for repairing the issue but get bogged down - the printer is set up with WIFI connection and visible but the scanning software is very basic now and almost unusable.

Please advise on a way orward.
