I recently had issues with my internet service (wires down the street). For AT&T to resolve this, they first provided a new wireless router. In the process, my computer no longer gets an IP address from DHCP.  Static assignment sort of works, but sometimes I lose "half" the internet.  It's a pain waiting to get to banks and credit cards.  Have spent a month trying to fix this.  I use hpscan for the same reasons that were posted in 2019 by somebody else.  Yesterday, I connected via ethernet to the router, and this works fine, but could no longer access the scanner.  I uninstalled the B210 printer software, and tried using the original CD to re-install.  This failed due to OS version support?  The updated install file worked, but now hpscan takes 30 seconds to start, every time.  I don't have the delays in starting the scan or browsing to save the file, as the previous poster had.  It seems that hpscan is going to the internet for something, and getting no response.  Was this issue ever determined/resolved?  Bit rot sucks.
