This printer should have the ability to scan to email using the embedded web server, but it doesn't even show up as an option for me to click. I am able to scan to email from the printer itself but it is from an auto generated HP email account, and that is not what I want. I need it to send from my specific outgoing email profile that way the scan is in the sent folder of my personal email account. I need to be able to adjust the SMTP for Gmail and I cannot do that since there is no option for scan to email on the EWS. HELP! I have called HP support multiple times and they forward me only to have the call be ended every time.

Hi,

The printer doesn't offer any such option, Digital Filing capabilities are offered for select HP Officejet Pro or Laserjet printers, not on HP Envy printers.

 

You may scan to email from the Apps menu by using the Scan to Email app, the printer doesn't offer any other such feature.

What you ask for is simply not a feature of your printer.
