HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1
Linux

Hi all

recently we have to deactivate old TLS protocols and leave only TLS 1.2 enabled.

After this change the ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 was no more able to send mail through the configured mail server.

The check on "Always use secure connection (SSL/TLS)" is set and I don't see any other possible configuration, except the port number.

On documentation I have found this note:

"note: Some servers might not support a secure connection and will use a different port. HP ScanJet 4500 fn1 only supports SSL3.0 / TSL1.2."

Suppose TSL is just a typo, so TLS 1.2 should be available for this scanner (firmware version is 7.130, latest available),

Did anyone experience the same problem?

Any solution?

bye
