HP Smart App on my Mac Mini M1 macOS Monterey 12.3 wont scan

Hi My HP printer will print from my Mac mini but it won't finish a scan it will get to the last page then the HP smart app closes and asks me to send error  report back, it was working before for a little while I've only had this Mac for 3 months and everything works great on it except the HP smart app it won't let me scan I half to us my old PC windows 11 to do any scanning and my Mac is not directly connected to the printer it scans over the wifi network, I've also uninstalled the app reinstalled it from App Store .

if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know I would appreciate it Thank you .

I see that you are not able to complete the scan using the HP Smart app.

Did you download this app from the App Store?

Which version of the HP Smart app are you using?

Go to HP Smart>About HP Smart. (The current version is 13.5.0)

Kindly check for any pending app updates on the App Store.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on Mac

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

If this does not help, use the HP Easy Scan app from the App Store to scan.
