Trying to scan on my HP Envy 6430e all in one using HP Smart. I kept receiving an error message simply saying "Scan Error". I followed all the virtual agent advice, including resetting to factory defaults and now all I have is a flashing amber "i" icon and literally zero connectivity with the printer. Am I now left with an expensive paperweight or is there a simple way to fix this?

[Edit]: I have fixed the amber "i" and am back to the Scan Error message, so I'm unable to Scan anything.
[Edit 2]: I can Scan via the app on my phone however I am unable to Scan using the HP Smart program on the PC. Could it be an issue with HP Smart? (HP Not-so-smart anyone?)
