Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Using HP 9015 InkJet.  Generally works great. EXCEPT using HPSmart app to scan from duplex feeder, I have consistently encountered the scanning process stalling at about page 16.  It must be something HP related because with my MacBookAir I can use the Preview app and scan with no problem.  I prefer the HPScan feature because it offers automatic compression on larger scans.  The scanner is set on duplex/gray/150 dpi.  

 

The one thing I did not do was uninstall and reinstall drivers or software.  The firmware is up to date.

 

What can I do to get the scanner to perform as I believe it should?
