HP Smart Scanning Office Jet 9015e - is it possible to get the scan icon from HP Smart app as a shortcut on my desktop so that I can scan with a single click?  With my Office Jet 8610 (which had Failed Printhead with two different printheads), I was able to create a desktop shortcut directly to scanning.  Is that possible with the HP Smart app?

 

I was able to get the HP Smart on my desktop but would really like to get the scan app as a shortcut.  Thanks.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Besides HP Smart, try the HP FULL Software solution.  Download and install from this link, there will a HP Scan (shortcut) to sue:
