HP Smart Windows 11 only lets me scan in JPG or PDF, prefer TIFF or PNG please help.

Good news -- the printer is unaware of the scan content type.

 

The application or software you use determines the scan content format.

 

For example,

Open Windows Fax and Scan

Bottom left column > Scan

 

Fax_and_Scan_Tif_Scan_Set_1Fax_and_Scan_Tif_Scan_Set_1

For those reading - FYI only --

Windows Fax and Scan does support Scan and then Save in PDF format.
