HP Recommended

HP Smart requires login before the scan option is available but will not allow me to log in.  It hangs with the message "Loading HP account..." on both Sign In or Create an Account selections.  Also, the links in HP Smart do not work.  Printing works just fine but I need a high quality scanning option.  In the past I used HP Scan and Capture but have a new computer on Windows 11 and this tool is no longer supported.  I did use 123. hp.com but the printer software installed on that path does not provide high quality scanning options and in fact does not seem to be recommended for scanning.  At the end of my rope....

HP Recommended

I was able to sign in finally by setting a default browser in  Windows 11 settings.  Ridiculous but it worked.
