  • My HP 2510 has a constant on orange exclamation point light, as well as the two green paper size lights, constant on. How do I clear them?

@King471, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Follow the steps below to isolate and resolve the issue-

Turn the printer off and then on again

Turning off the printer and then turning it on again recalibrates the cartridges.

  1. Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Wait 60 seconds.

  3. Press the power button to turn the printer on.

    NOTE:

    The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash and the carriage might move. Wait until the warm-up period finishes before proceeding.

  4. Attempt to copy/print.

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Apparently all other wall sockets have a similar outcome.

@King471

This looks like a hardware issue.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
