Product: HP8024e All in One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Considering purchasing HP8025e printer.   

 

I want to know if I can use other manufacturers printer cartridges.   I have read some suggestions like go into the printer IP address and change a setting.  Also something about when you turn it on it is loaded with the HP cartridges which are protected once it is on...so do I load it with other cartridges before turning it on?   

Can someone tell me how best to proceed?  I wish I could afford HP cartridges..but the reality I can't since I am on a fixed income.
