Just bought 8028e all in one. Very disappointed. Cannot connect scanner to printer. printing ok . not tested fax.

I see you are experiencing scanner issues with the HP Printer. I apologize for the Inconvenience. 

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Fix printing and scanning problems with HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool for Windows. Diagnose & fix any of the following scanning problems or error messages using the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Check for a Firewall setting on your computer. If a Firewall on your computer is active, it may be rejecting the necessary network connection needed for the network scanning software to operate properly. Disable the Firewall on your computer and try the network scanning again.
