The process involves ensuring your printer is ready, connecting it to your network if using it wirelessly, and then adding it to your PC through Windows settings or with HP's software. Here's how you can do it:

Ensure Your Printer is Ready

  1. Turn on your HP DeskJet 2548 printer.
  2. Check if it has paper loaded and sufficient ink.
  3. If you're connecting the printer via Wi-Fi, ensure it's connected to the same network as your PC.

Connect Printer to Network (If Using Wi-Fi)

  • If your printer isn’t already connected to Wi-Fi, you might need to use the HP Smart app or the printer’s built-in Wi-Fi setup wizard.

Add Printer to Windows 11 PC

You can add the printer using Windows settings or HP's recommended software.

Using Windows Settings

  1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then select “Settings” (gear icon).
  2. Go to Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  3. Click on Add device. Windows will search for available printers.
