How do I make copies darker on the hp2852e

When I print piano sheet music from a device via WiFi, the printed material is nice and dark. But when I make a copy of that print on the HP2852e printer, it comes out way too light. How do I adjust the contrast since there's no on-screen display on this model printer?

You are correct --

The Copy feature on this printer does not have any extra features.

Solutions...

Print more than one copy of the original file.

OR

Open your Application (for example, HP Smart - Windows, or HP App - Mobile / Mac)

Scan the content as PDF or as Photo (Image) --

If the scan is not sufficiently dark after the initial scan,

After the scan but before you save / share, Select Edit > Adjust 

"Adjust" allows you to change the character of the colors, hue, intensity.

Click "Done" when your adjustments are complete

Select "Save" and choose / accept a destination (folder)

AND / OR

Select "Print" to print the scanned content.
