How do I scan from my Envy 5532 to my chrmebook

I cannot scan from my Envy 5532 to my HP Chromebook whether connected via usb or wifi.

Chromebook, regardless of the "brand name" stamped on the cover of the device, is the victim of having its main scan interface permanently disabled by the developer / Operating System provider.

 

What to do?

Those printers with an Automatic Document Feeder are better suited to the task of creating multiple page documents.  This printer model does not include an ADF.

 

HP Printers - How to Scan (Chromebooks)

NOTE:  Browser > Webscan – Embedded Web Server (EWS) - USB connection not supported

 

If there is a true solution to the dilemma, I'm not aware of it.

The OS is limited, the printer lacks an ADF.

If an application is available, it will be available in the Google Play Store.
