Hi @Murwillumbah,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To scan documents from your printer to your PC easily, you can follow these basic steps, which apply to most USB-connected Samsung printers.

Place the Document: First, place a single document face down on the document glass or load multiple documents face up in the document feeder of your printer.

Access the Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer's control panel, select the "Scan" button, followed by choosing "Scan to PC" or simply "Local PC" options depending on your model.

  • Make sure your printer is connected to your PC properly. If you see a message indicating "Not Available," check the port connection, or use the Samsung Easy Printer Manager to enable the "Scan from Device Panel" setting.

Choose Scan Destination:

  • Select the scan destination on your PC. By default, the scanned images are saved in the "My Documents" folder. You can change the folder destination if needed.

Check the Results: The scanned image is typically saved by default in C:\Users[your username]\My Documents, but the saved folder may differ based on your operating system or the scanning application you use.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
