Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an ASUS X750J  laptop and recently installed a new HP OfficeJet Pro all-in-one printer. Printing and scanning worked great until now. I can print with no problems. I attempted to scan to my laptop and I got an error message that my laptop is "Not a supported device". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times and I'm told "Device not found" when I attempt to scan. Print still works. What changed and how do I get the scanning function to work?

 

BTW, I know just enough about this stuff to get myself in trouble. I'm looking for instructions that I can easily understand and implement. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
