Hi there,

please, can someone help me stop my Hp Scanner putting the same Name to all the Document I scan.?

What you can do depends on the application or software you are using.

I've included two examples - one for HP Smart (Windows) and one for HP Scan (Windows / part of full driver printer software.

Windows - HP Smart

For example, HP Smart will only (possibly) use a file name twice if the file is scanned and saved to a different device where that file name has not been used before -- it's still unlikely (in my opinion) simply because the file naming algorithm is fairly smart.  Regardless, you can intervene and change the name before the scanned is saved to its destination.

Windows - HP Scan

HP Scan -- part of the Full Feature Software -- can be configured with a base scan name and an (automatically) added Date and Time.  Adding the time element does make is less likely names will be duplicated.

Example - HP Scan - Windows - Menu - More > Destination > File Name
