I understand your HP OfficeJet 4650 printer is printing and copying, but not scanning to your computer. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
 

Check Connection:
 

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to your computer via USB or is on the same network if you are using a wireless connection.


Verify Software Installation:
 

  • Ensure that the necessary HP scanning software is installed on your laptop. You can install or update the software from the official HP website at 123.hp.com.

 

Check Printer Status:
 

  • Make sure that the printer is not paused or offline. You can do this by checking the printer status in the 'Devices and Printers' section of your computer settings.


Restart Devices:
 

  • Restart your printer and computer. Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve connection or software issues.

 

Firewall and Security Settings:
 

  • Check your computer’s firewall or security settings to ensure they are not blocking the printer or scanning services.


Update Drivers:
 

  • Visit the Official HP® Support to download and install any available driver updates for your printer model.


Scanning from Software:
