When I went to print I saw the button that said 2 sided was green. I turned it off and it hasn’t happened again YET! Thank you! Now can you tell me why I keep losing connection,daily, and the blue light is on?

It sounds like you've resolved the two-sided printing issue, but you're still experiencing connection problems with your printer. Here are some potential reasons why your printer keeps losing connection daily, even though the blue light (indicating a connection) is on:

 

Wi-Fi Signal Interference: There may be interference from other devices or physical obstructions between your printer and the Wi-Fi router. Common sources of interference include microwaves, cordless phones, or thick walls.

 

Router Issues: Your router might be experiencing temporary drops in connection. Restarting the router or updating its firmware might help stabilize the connection.

 

Printer's Sleep Mode: Some printers have power-saving modes that can cause them to disconnect from the network. Check your printer settings to ensure it stays connected even in sleep mode.

 

IP Address Conflicts: If your printer is set to use a dynamic IP address, it might change frequently, causing connection issues. Assigning a static IP address to your printer can often resolve this.

 

Wi-Fi Network Configuration: Ensure your printer is connected to the correct network, especially if you have multiple Wi-Fi networks (e.g., a guest network and a main network).

 

Firmware Updates: Outdated firmware on your printer can cause connectivity issues. Check if there's an update available for your printer's firmware and install it.

 

Signal Strength: If your printer is far from the router or in an area with weak signal strength, it might connect intermittently. Consider moving the printer closer to the router or using a Wi-Fi extender.
