We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. 

 

To set up your HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer to scan to your new HP All-in-One Desktop PC (27"), follow these steps:

 

Install HP Software & Drivers

  1. Download the latest HP Full Feature Software and Drivers for your printer from the HP Support website.
  2. Install the software, following the on-screen instructions.
  3. Ensure the printer is connected to the PC via USB or Wi-Fi.

Enable Scan to Computer

  1. Open HP Printer Assistant on your PC.
  2. Click "Scan" > "Manage Scan to Computer".
  3. Click Enable to turn on Scan to Computer.

Use HP Scan Software

  1. Open HP Scan from your Start menu.
  2. Choose Document or Photo as needed.
  3. Adjust settings (resolution, file type, etc.).
  4. Click Scan and save the file.
