I used to scan documents, photos from this printer that has a scan feature but now, it shows this feature is not available?? I don't understand. Please help and what seems to be the problem.

I am sorry to hear that the scan feature on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e is not available or not functioning as expected, I would request you to please follow the steps:

 

Restart the Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and computer.
  • Unplug them from the power source.
  • Wait for a minute, then plug them back in and turn them on.

Update Printer Software:

  • Check if there are any available software or firmware updates for your printer. 
  • You can do this via the HP Smart app or the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).

Scan from a Computer:

  • If your usual method isn't working, try using the HP Smart app or HP Scan software to initiate a scan from your computer.

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Open the Embedded Web Server by entering the printer’s IP address into a web browser on your networked computer. 
  • Check the ‘Network’ or ‘Tools’ tab for any potential issues or settings that need adjustment.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the current printer driver and software from your computer. 
  • Restart your computer, and then reinstall the latest version of the driver from HP's official website.
