I recently replaced my old Apple Desktop with a new one. In the past I was able to scan using the controls on my HP Printer and send scans directly to email but now for some reason I am unable to since setting up my new desktop. I am able to scan by going to settings on my desktop but can only send to desktop, not email. I have un-installed printer and re-installed but that didn't solve the problem. Any other settings I may have missed? Any insight is appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Scan to email needs some setup.  Here's a resource (example) on how to do that.  Please ensure that the printer is connected to the network.
