Product: HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

I want to scan using Twain, my program does not recognize Twain. If I use WIA it only scans one page out of the document feeder and then resets to 11x14 paper.

  • From which software you are printing?
  • What is the operating system you are using? (Mac/Windows)
  • What is the exact issue you are facing? Any error messages.

The HP OfficeJet 4650 All-In-One Printer does not support the TWAIN protocol. TWAIN is a standard software protocol used for scanning images from different types of devices, such as scanners and digital cameras, into software applications. However, many modern printers and scanners, including the OfficeJet 4650, typically use a different protocol or method for scanning.

 

For HP printers, including the OfficeJet 4650, HP provides a software package called HP Scan and Capture, which allows you to scan documents and images. This software is available for Windows 11 and should work with your printer.

 

To download and install HP Scan and Capture, you can visit the official HP support website and search for your printer model. From there, you should be able to find the appropriate software and drivers for Windows 11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation, and you should be able to use the scanning functionality of your OfficeJet 4650 with Windows 11.
