I'm getting lines down the middle of the page when I scan with the feeder. how do I fix

You'll usually find a piece of paper in window #3, at the same location the stripe appears on the page.

We have liftoff.  the first set of instructions worked.  since I was scanning from the doc feeder I didn't think the glass was dirty and it wasn't.  What I didn't realize until I look at your directions was that there is a small glass strip separate from the main glass that is for the doc feeder.  DUH 🙂  Once I cleaned that it started scanning without the lines.
