Welcome to the HP Community --

 

Reasons for this type of result include (and are not limited to):

 

  • Poor  -- or overly busy  -- connection  between unknown Printer and network - Scanning is resource intensive and requires a decent, solid, and unwavering connection between printer, network, and the device running the job.

 

  • Too many pages -- some Printers only include a modicum (or a small amount) of memory.  Memory is used to hold the current job in place until it can be saved.

 

  • The application / software you are using lost track of the job configuration.

 

  • The switch between one page -- or one side -- and another "glitched" (failed) and killed the whole job.
