I want to scan multiple pages without having to go to my computer in the other room to add additional pages, one at a time. I don't see an option to continuously scan.

Let's start with clarifying your exact HP printer or scanner model, HP have many different devices, the software options varies.

Hi,

The printer does not have a scan button so initiating a scan can only be done from a computer and not from the printer itself.

 

You may also find scanning using your mobile device am option for such a scan job:
