I have an HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP printer that prints well. However, when I try to make copies, nothing works.

Your printer has a front panel display and an automatic document feeder.

 

What happens when you press the copy button?  Do you hear the scanning mechanism start up?

Does the document feeder fail to pick up the paper to be copies?

 

What are the symptoms?

Are there error messages on the display?
