I have the fax set to auto answer on the first ring, it will NOT answer. I also need to bi-pass the sleep mode to never sleep

Hi,

You cannot disable sleep mode, however it should wake up upon printing, faxing, etc.

 

Please make sure that the Distinctive Ring setting is set to All Rings, see page 69 of its user guide:

If the problem remains, what is the current "Rings to Answer" value?
