Lines on document fed & scanned docs

I have faint horizontal lines that show on prints after using the document feeder.  I get the same thing if I scan using the document feeder.  I do not get this if using the glass or printing an original.  

 

I've carefully and meticulously cleaned the glass and rollers (as recommended) and I still get the same issue.  I don't see anything on the bottom side of the glass (that I'm able to see with my eye) however I do not know how to access the bottom of the glass.  

 

Any help would be great to get rid of this line in my prints!  🙂

HP Recommended

Even the tiniest spec of clear material can reflect light and cause defects. Dirt inside is extremely rare and dirty optical units would cause errors when scanning flatbed. Make a copy and then set it down face up on the glass and the lines will show you where you need extra cleaning.
