Dear All:

I tried to run a scan on my Deskjet 4152e, but the software asks for a log-in.

There seems to be no way around that, and I couldn't find a solution for this

stupid thing.

Does someone know a workaround?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Using the app requires an account.  Create an account or log-in if you have a HP ID.

Follow the instructions on the HP Smart to create or log in to the account.

 

It's like any other vendors - Apple or Google where an account is needed to use certain functions.

Hi,

The HP Smart app requires logging into an HP account in order to scan using the app.

 

You may downlead and install the HP Scan software on your computer, which do not require any such:
