Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to scan a document in black and white mode (not grayscale) with the Laserjet M234sdwe?

In the scan software HP Smart and using Windows Fax and Scanner application I see only color and grayscale options.

 

Second issue: using the Fax and Scanner application from Windows 10 the DPI reslolution seems to limited to 75/150/300 while with HP Smart scanning I see 150/300 and 600. Why this is happening?

If already found the solution:

installing the full software of the printer/scanner brings everything:

black/white scanning is now available as well as dpi are shown up to 600 even in the Fax and Scanner application (win10).
