Malfunction of HP Scanjet 3500 F1 scanner from 2021, which works perfectly under Win 10.
I bought a new Lenovo PC with Win 11 Pro 64-bit 24H2 build 26100.4770. The scanner is connected to a Lenovo docking station.
The scanner under Win 11 is only recognized when the PC is rebooted. This problem is described. Uninstalling HP ScanJet Pro 3500 f1 Flatbed Scanner Full Feature Software and Driver from September 22, 2022 is complicated. I don't understand why HP and Microsoft can't release a proper driver for a scanner that cost €500 and is only four years old. Maybe HP doesn't want to sell scanners anymore...

I also tried the HP ScanJet Pro 3500 f1 Flatbed Scanner Basic Driver. It doesn't work well and you lose all the features that were so appreciated in this scanner.
I don't feel that this article https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5060842 applies to me, as my version of Win 11 24H2 is much more recent. So I'm eagerly awaiting a corrected driver so that I can use this scanner again with my new PC. In the meantime, I'm using it with my old Win 10 PC... ..
