Message when I run the Scan that I never got before on HP6975

I get the same message (see attached) when I select the HP Twain Administrator. I never got this message until today. Normally it went directly to the Scan Screen. Please help.

HP Twain scan software is included in at least some installations of the Full Feature Software.

This is the message one might see when running HP Twain software as a standalone.

I would guess you are seeing the message because the Twain software thinks (is prepared in case) there is more than one possible source (printer) for the Twain software.

What is HP Twain?

HP Twain, when it is part of the Full Feature / Full Solution Software will (can) show up when scan is called from within Photo View / Editing software.  For example, Irfanview can make use of HP Twain software.

HP Twain – Scan software

Where available, HP Twain is part of the Full Feature Software for your printer.

After the Full Feature Software is installed, HP Twain is available in the same folder as HP Scan.

For example: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series\bin

NOTE:  Replace the sample printer name with your printer

NOTE 2:  When installed, HP Twain also works with  Irfanview  software.
