When copying on my HP Deskjet 3772 printer, the copy comes out smaller than the original. How can I fix this?

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing a copy issue with your HP Deskjet 3772 printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist better:

  • I would like to if it happening with all Copies or any particular single photo or document?
  • Did you make changes to the printer settings?

While you respond to that, please try to update the printer firmware 

 

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

if the issue persists then manually Adjust Copy Settings

 

If the printer is on your network, you may be able to use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check/adjust the default copy setup.

 

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address(192.168.X.X or 10.0.X.X) into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Copy Settings > Default Settings

Set / Adjust as desired

Click Apply to save changes

 

Note: The reference image may have a different printer but the settings are same.
