My HP ENVY 4522 is hard wired to my desk top but te scan system will not connect. The printer prints docs as normal, the copier also works, but no scanner.

Hp envy 4522 are good printers. May be you have some issue in the driver of the printer. As we are using ENVY 4522 at slotomania VIP office. Which is performing both printing and scanning. As one time I also faced such issue but when we updated the driver of the printer so its start proper working.
