Hi, 

My MFP M577 scanner has just stopped working.  It appears to show code 8372108.  It won't send a scan to email. When it scans to USB, the resulting file is 1 kb.  

I am a basic user, so the more detail  you can give in any response would be greatly appreciated. 

Is there an app that I can use on my computer to see and modify the settings on the printer?

Is this a laserjet or pagewide model? The 577 model number has been used a couple of times. The error you post does not look like a laserjet error, but would like to confirm

Where do you see the error? Is it on the control panel? This code does not match expected error codes from this model of printer. Can you post a picture?
