Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I can print wirelessly but, not scan.  I keep receiving a Server Connection Error saying there was a problem connecting to the server.  I have tried updating the driver, WiFi Protected Setup and nothing works.  I've reset both the printer and model and still nothing.

@BlueStang03, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to scan. To assist you better, what model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

 

Have you used the HP Smart app to scan and check?

Alternatively, use the HP Scan and Capture app from the Microsoft store.
