Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. My scans now have a black screen until you scroll down. SO I have to use a flash drive to go between my scanner and computer, due to the fact they won't talk over WIFI  or wired network (a whole other story). I have restarted the computer, I have restarted the printer, I have reformatted the USB stick. My scans come through with an initial black screen ans when you scan down they will appear. I have to send these scans to customers and this isn't acceptable. Has anyone experienced anything like this and have any suggestions?

If you have already performed the steps from the document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
