Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Placing a document in the ADF and then hitting scan on the printer screen will ONLY scan from glass, despite the unit having detected a document in the ADF.  Copy automatically from ADF does work.  I saw another posting that says that to scan from ADF you need to do it from HP smart on the associated computer.  And indeed this is true.  I have  already installed the full installation of the 9015.  Also it keeps bringing up Windows fax and scan, why is this? I'm not sure which operating system I have so I just chose windows 10 (64 bit).

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Did you make any changes on the settings of your printer prior to the issue?
