Bild 1.pngHello. Microsoft has switched to a new authentication method and will be retrofitting HP printers. I have an HP M283fdw, and the scan to email function is not working.

New authentication method: OAuth2.

 

Does anyone have information on when this update will be rolled out

The only thing I have seen is some beta testing on Enterprise level products and none of my contacts have been able to provide any kind of timeline, even for advanced products, so likely there is no firm answer. The best current option is to configure scan to folder and attach the documents in your desktop mail program. Yes, I understand it takes more steps but that is really the only solution right now.
