Hi @AliciaJeremiah

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printer error.

Please try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

hi i tried your solution but it still does not work

the resume and cancel button are still blinking

i managed to get the connection button to stop blinking

i tried to install  the software for the printer but it failed to do so at the last part so i dont think the setup is complete

although at one point ...after some failed troubleshooting , it did say that my printer setup is complete

however, when i tried to print a document, the printer just made a sound and still could not print

hope to hear from you soon

Thank you

hello again,

nope the copy does not work

it will detect that i want 1 copy but then the resume and cancel button will start blinking again

i even tried the steps on the hp video of what to do if printer doesnt pick up paper

and cleaned the grey rollers

however i think picking up the paper is not the  problem as the paper icon does go away when i load paper in.

please help me with further suggestions on what to do next

thank you
